K-State Plant Disease Diagnostic Lab

The K-State Plant Disease Diagnostic Lab offers timely diagnostics for plant pathogenic issues, including fungi, bacteria, viruses, and fungal-like organisms. Serving K-State Research and Extension personnel, consultants, commercial producers, landscape companies, and homeowners regionally and nationally, our mission is to provide expert diagnoses, followed by access to research-based resources and connections with our knowledgeable experts for further assistance.

K-State Soil Testing Lab

The K-State Research and Extension Soil Testing Lab provides high quality analysis of soil, plant, forage, grain and water for farmers, homeonwers and researchers.

AgManager.info

One of the premier extension sites for information on the agricultural economy, from Kansas State University. AgManager is a comprehensive source of information, analysis, and decision-making tools for agricultural producers, agribusinesses, and others. The site serves as a clearinghouse for applied outreach information emanating from the Department of Agricultural Economics at Kansas State University.

Kansas Farm Management Association

The Kansas Farm Management Association (KFMA), with over 80 years of experience, collaborates with farm families through a team of 24 economists to provide essential production and financial management information. Services include farm accounting, on-farm visits, financial benchmarks, tax planning, estate planning assistance, and improved decision-making. Organized into six regional associations, KFMA serves as a central information unit for agricultural economics research and extension activities.

Mobile Irrigation Lab

The Mobile Irrigation Lab provides free software and media downloads, technical bulletins, and links to other useful resources to assist in irrigation mangement and cropping system strategies.

Institute for Digital Agriculture and Advanced Analytics, or ID3A

The Kansas State University Institute for Digital Agriculture and Advanced Analytics (ID3A) is a pioneering interdisciplinary institute focused on transforming learning, research, and outreach through digital technologies and advanced analytical methods to improve agricultural, environmental, and socioeconomic decision-making under the Next-Gen K-State Strategic Plan.

Kansas Center for Agricultural Resources and the Environment (KCARE)

KCARE's mission is to support agricultural innovations and coordinate research, teaching, and extension activities related to environmental issues. KCARE's K-State Watershed Specialists work with Kansas producers to protect water quality and develop new conservation management practices.

Kansas Water Institute

The Kansas Water Institute develops and supports research on high-priority water resource problems and objectives identified through the state water plan. Additionally, the institute facilitates effective communication between water resource professionals and helps disseminate and apply research results.

Wheat Genetics Resource Center (WGRC)

Located at Kansas State University, the WGRC maintains a gene bank, evaluation and passport data on 2,500 wheat specieis accessions. The WGRC aims to secure future progress in wheat breeding through three primary missions: expanding the genetic base through the collection, conservation, and utilization of germplasm, facilitating global exchange in genetics and biotechnology, and supporting academic training and advanced research for students and scientists in WGRC laboratories.
